John Brice is Chairman of JSB Energy. Previously he was President, Chief Investment Officer and co-founder of CarVal Investors LLC a leading alternative asset manager involved in special situation, distressed and opportunistic credit investment. Under his leadership the firm grew to manage over $10bn of capital on behalf of leading global institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds, consistently producing top quartile returns and recognised as one of Wall St’s leading firms in its space as a result.  He was responsible for pioneering of this type of investment in Europe having led restructurings in a number of prominent European companies including Marconi PLC and British Energy PLC in the UK. John has extensive experience in the private equity and hedge fund fields. He is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a B.Sc in Economics from Cardiff University.

Simon Bragg is Chief Executive of JSB Energy. Prior to this he was Chairman and Chief Executive of Stifel Europe, which acquired Oriel Securities, a business he founded. Simon is a non executive director of JPMorgan American Investment Trust, Bridge Petroleum 1, Intralink and Chairman of YOUhome. Simon has extensive experience of starting-up high growth companies. Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, Simon previously worked for Hoare Govett, Cargill and HSBC. Simon is a Chemistry graduate from Imperial College and a Fellow of Goodenough College.

Nick Copeman is Chief Operating Officer of JSB Energy. Formerly he was an asset manager at GLG Partners where he focussed on the oil and gas producers universe. Previously he was the Extel No1 ranked oil and gas analyst at Oriel Securities. He has extensive experience of the oil and gas sector gained as a consultant to BP, Shell and Chevron, and whilst working for Schlumberger. He holds a M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University.
